Starting time Saturday 6th, 9am anywhere

Weigh-In Ben's Dock, opposite 5 Star Island, 3pm-4pm. All catch goes to BBQ!

Please register your boat with Terry Madeiros at tmdesign@transact.bm

There is an entry fee of $30 per boat for prizes. If you dont have a spot on a boat you can email Terry and he will get you on one. Please register by Tuesday 2nd September so he'll know how much beer to buy.

Rules for lobstering

You need a lobster licence to catch lobsters. The cost is $110 and is available now from the Environmental Protection at the Botanical Gardens and is valid from September 1st, 2008 until March 21, 2009. You can take two lobsters per licence per day. You can only noose lobsters. No spearing but you can spearfish at the same time.

Rules for spearfishing

You do not need a licence to spearfish but there are restrictions on quantities and certain species are off limits.

Useful stuff

You can buy spears and nooses from H Davidson's & Co. or Makin Waves for about $70

There will be at least one "experienced" Lobster/Spearing fishing person on each boat. Other than that you can have as many as you want on each boat.

Individual Prizes for

• Biggest Male Lobster
• Biggest Female Lobster
• Biggest Hog Fish
• Biggest legal Edible Fish

Boat prize for

• Heaviest Total Catch (Lobster & Fish combined)

Only legal fish will count. You can only win one individual prize.

Weather Call

An e-mail will go out on Friday 5th to confirm tournament in on or off. There is no rain date. Captains you will recieve a refund of RegistrationFee if called off.
